Hello from Fresno, CA! I was shocked recently to realize that I haven't written since Jasper National Park (okay, I realized this like two weeks ago and then STILL didn't post anything - I'm the worst!), but better late than never, right? :)
One reason for the delay is that Shane and I took a week long road trip hiatus to fly to Disney World, where we met up with Shane's family. We had a ton of fun hanging out with everyone (and sleeping in a bed and showering consistently were nice too!), and we were definitely sad to say good-bye at the end of the week. We missed everyone as soon as we left! One of the hardest parts of this trip is not being able to see and hug all of the people that I care about whenever I want, which is quite often. If I could just magically apparate and see everyone instantly, that would be swell.
Speaking of magic, we did manage to sneak into Diagon Alley! Here we are in all our muggle glory:

After Disney, we flew back to Seattle and continued exploring the coast. Here is a medley of photos to give you a feel for our trip since Jasper National Park.
We made friends with these nice people who were also visiting wherever we were on October 15th (do I need a better system for organizing photos? most definitely). We showed them how the back of our Toyota Rav 4 has been converted into a car bed, thanks to Shane and our friend Abe, and they gave us some delicious Chinese food that they had packed for themselves. I think we got the better deal.

One of our last stops in Canada was Wells Gray Provincial Park, where we saw the beautiful Helmcken Falls. This photo in no way does the waterfall justice, but I'll share it with you anyway:

We saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time, and it was beautiful...

The Hoh Rainforest in Washington wasn't too shabby either. Well, unless you count the moss.

I thought it would be difficult to top beautiful Washington, but Oregon took my breath away.

We saw some amazing and strange wildlife too, but I'll leave you in suspense for about 20 minutes while I work on the next post ;)
Thanks for following us down the Pacific coast! Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday <3
